The Goethe-Institut Madrid has been working in the Spanish capital and many regions since 1957. It offers professional language courses and support to the education system. It supports the translation of German-speaking authors into Spanish. Intercultural cooperation is at the heart of the Goethe-Institut Madrid’s activities, based on collaboration with local partners as well as communities on the cultural and geographical peripheries of the city. Through intercultural dialogue, cooperation and co-creation based on inclusion and participation, Goethe-Institut Madrid aims to have a social impact by following the values of freedom, equality, and access to culture.
